Styling Pirates for Helix 3D

I absolutely loved this small styling project for Helix 3D last week, playing just a tiny part in their amazing work which saw pirates hanging in Gibbet cages on the banks of the river Thames, a sight not seen for over 200 years. The stunt was to promote ‘Black Sails’ for their client Mischief PR, and their (as always) top notch project execution saw their happy client secure much picture story coverage and branded mentions.

It involved a LOT of ‘Pure Filth’, aging leather with sandpaper and many more techniques including a traumatic trip to Camden on a very sunny Saturday. As always booking Emma Watts for make up delivered perfect results, and I can’t recommend her enough. A few behind the scenes images follow…

…obviously it took Emma hours to make me look this rough.
